Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have a physical clinic?

We have a brand new treatment clinic at 118 Aberdeen st, Northbridge WA 6003. It is open by appointment.

Do I need a referral?

No referral is necessary unless your treatment is covered by an insurance company (Worker’s Compensation, ICWA or NDIS).

What can I expect in the consultation?

The consultation will involve a thorough assessment, patient-oriented goal setting, suggested and self-directed (home program) discussion, and may include physiotherapy intervention, and communication with other health professionals, to provide you with the optimal treatment plan.

Do you offer mobile home visits?

Whilst home visits are not typical, they may be arranged in certain circumstances, which will be discussed during the consultation.

Will this treatment reduce my chronic pain?

Physiotherapy intervention is often a critical part of the interventions offered to manage chronic or persistent pain. Usually a spectrum of interventions in tandem provides the most effective pain management for these conditions.

As your physiotherapist, I will offer evidence based interventions, guide you and communicate with other relevant health professionals to ensure you have the optimal outcome.

Will you communicate with my other specialists?

Definitely, as communication with your referring health professionals is an important aspect in assisting you and providing effective long-term treatment.
